Best solution for blade flicker during videos?

Is there a good solution for the flickering during videos. It is only at certain angles relative to the sun so I am sure it is cause by the shadows of the blades? I saw somebody mention tape to create a sunshade but is there any better solution?

I purchased a small sunshade off ebay.
It just slides over the lens housing and stops the flicker.

How do you put your cover on? I use a cover but it doesn't make much difference...

That white one extends out really far, robinb. It doesn't show up in any photos?

you can slide it backward and forward on the lens body.

you adjust it until its in right place.
