Good morning all.
I suffered a stroke in 2015
My drone was packed away since then.
I gave the Drone to my Son and he wanted to fly the drone.
When he wanted to charge the batteries none lit up to take the charge.
What must be done for the batteries to accept a chrarge please.
The batteries are band new.

Probably not usable. Storage for that length of time without the care they needed isn’t good. If there is other information out there for a solution, I’ve not seen it.

The link above shows the steps for bringing a battery out of hibernation. Doesn't always work but its worth a try.

It can be done, but it means stripping the battery down, removing the cells and using a Lipo charger to inject charge into them, however as they have been left unused for 5 years then i dont think anything will revive them, your only option is to buy new batteries and dispose of the others

I'm currently charging 3 batteries that have not been used in 5 years. All 3 of them show 2 bars of power prior to being connected to charger. There was no discharge that took place, they were full when stored in 2015.

I hope they're okay to use. I'll find out tomorrow morning.

All 3 batteries flew without incident. I let them cool for 30 minutes prior to recharging. After 5 years in a closet, they still perform flawlessly!!!

@ Tony McDrone.
I have the same problem.
After 5 Years not using the drone the Batteries wont charge. I have 4 of them
They look like new not blown or other marks, simply no lights, no charge.
I already open one of them to reset, but no reaction.
I specially bought the LIPro Balance Charger but all it comes is connection break.
Is there any solution to awake them?
It's difficult to find new Batteries and if then they are amazing expensive.
I also thought about a modification to use common LiPos but i cant find a one which has the same data s and fit in to the Copter.

greets Klaus
