So as a birthday present to myself I picked up a used P3P with backpack case & spare batteries from a young man on Craigslist. I have played around with the simulator, did some flying in the back yard and today I will head out to an open field and try some more flying.
When I bought the unit the seller flew it a bit for me and I saw that all the functions worked. Now that it is at home I have noticed a noise coming out of the gimbal only when it is pointed down. It starts at about 40 degrees to the full 90 degrees. Footage still looks good, but I am sure it is not supposed to sounds like this.
I've checked the grub screw and when I gently touch the camera or gimbal when it is pointed down the noise stops for a few seconds.
For the price I paid this will be a great learning tool if nothing more. But I would love to make it right.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, Harry
