Just discovered that lots of people has the same problem, and some of them solved buying a new RC.....
Today I've tried a second hand PH4PRO v2 (replacement by DJI and manifactured on 2024...totally new) and he message @weak signal adjust antenna@ appears over three differents sites over my country (no powerlines, no TV or Cell antennas, just agricolture fields).
Obviously it's an hardware problem (tried also to relink the RC).
I use it for photogrammtric purposes with a PIX4d flightplanner that, on my PH4PRO gifted over 300 flights without any problem.
Now if I plan a mission, telemetry disappear after few meters away and I can't see where it is during the flight.
It is possible that this drone have a common ansd stupid problem like this!!!! I can't use it!
So i would ask to persons who encountered the same problem how they have fixed it....Many thanks,
Sulu.

Just went through a problem that sounds very much like this. Took it to a local small shop and he replaced the GPS module in the aircraft. I have not tested it yet. Too much rain and snow right now.

GPS module
Doubtful that a GPS module will affect the signals provided by the receiver/transmitter system in this aircraft. GPS module is a position instrument.
The OP is still somewhat confused regarding the manufacture/build date of this aircraft as mentioned to him in a previous thread.
If there is a range issue, likely it involves the antennas and or their connectors.
I have seen Phantom series aircraft that have dislodged connectors.

I have had weak signal more often than not but I do work around utilities. I always put down ground control and just turn off the GPS when it is weak. I tie my ground control with survey grade RTK GPS. Sometimes, I can launch about 10-15 feet, turn UAV RTK GPS back on and get the signal. Sometimes I have to go higher but if I can’t get reasonable RTK by 30’ AGL I just fly the mission without RTK. It just means my calibration in Pix4D shows my ground control targets as much as 7 feet from the initial Pix4D location rather than within tenths.

Finally got to test fly and it worked great. Only thing done was replacing GPS module in the bird.
