Hi all

I have just read on another post that a 4 GB file from a p4p turns into a 80 GB file in H. 265 but how many minutes is a 4 GB file?

When shooting 4K video, you'll get about 2 minutes of video per 1 GB of memory.

I think you are mixing with h265 (or h264) converted to prores which might very well grow 20-fold when transcoded depending on the quality settings of the conversion.

Both h264 and h265 is stored at a fixed rate of 100mbps in the p4p.

P4p records either h264 or h265. You later transcode to prores if you have trouble editing the native files on your computer.
