V2P+ camera issues

I am a relatively newbie to the V2P+. A week or so ago, I posted that I was having trouble controlling the pitch on the camera. Colleagues directed me to select the correct transmitter version in the assistant software. Here's where it stands: when in the basic version, I can control the camera on screen in the DJI app. No problem. But, I have the new remote control with the wheel on the top left and would like to use that. However, when I click on the Upgrade Version in the software, nothing. The camera simply does not respond to the wheel. Any ideas? I'm sure I'm just missing something simple, but don't know what.

Try re-calibrating it exactly like this:
