Travel Case for your Phantom 2?

K the case from Banggood (http://www.banggood.com/Backpack-Al...-1-Phantom-2-Vision-Vision-FC40-p-931810.html) arrived today and for the money its well worth the wait.
Its well constructed with plenty padding and space for all my accessories and spares.
The P2 fits with H2-3D and Hero 3+ still attached though i am using the security clip for the camera to stop it moving round in transport. http://www.raveaerialvideo.com/

Still plenty room for extra batteries, charger etc.. The props fit in the inside pocket as they have to be removed but that's no problem.
The outside has 2 side pockets for extras and a nice big zipped sleeve for a FPV Monitor.
Filled and packed its not to heavy but as its a backpack carrying the P2 is not a problem.

Well worth it for the money.

Thanks for the review, very helpful. I'm about to order a case and since I'm traveling soon I want to order it from the US to have it delivered fast. I've found this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... TQ:US:1123 and it seems to be the same as your case. Maybe you can confirm that it is?

Yes it appears to be the same case. Bit more expensive but not much, though shipping is high unless internal to US is cheaper.

I always like to jump in these threads just in case anyone is like me and would prefer a backpack over a hard case... like if you want to hike into the woods or whatever dragging a hard case would be a major hassle... I've gone both off the grid and taken my backpack as a carryon through many airports and I've always felt like my Phantom was well protected.

Vanguard Uprise II 48. I learned about it from this video and the way I set up the internal walls is slightly different. Also you'll probably want a gimbal holder like a Zenclip or something

could i get a follow up review on this item please! :)

I had the case for about a week now and used it a few times, it sure makes carrying around your stuff much easier esp if you dont have a case.

The only issue im seeing right now is it doesn't fit my black pearl monitor very well and you can see I have it next to the controller in the photo.. the front part is just to small but I can prob cut that out. Also no real room for extra props, I put an extra set where the drone sets trying to be careful not to bend any or put any pressure on them. I know this has pockets but for props last thing I want is for them to bend or break in a pocket.

Anyhow I need to stuff more into this such as my chargers, extra batteries etc..

but honestly for the price you cant beat it as something you could take around local or on camping w/o having to worry about stuff breaking.

I think the cases with the pre-cut material is pretty cool, but my outfit grows and changes, and I don't use the stock TX. I think I'll have to go with a medium pelican case with dividers, which can be configured and re-configured as my needs change. Another advantage is that I can use it for other camera/cinema gear, and I'll also have more potential customers should I choose to re-sell it down the line.

The trick now is finding the right case!
