This is gonna be fun! (Distance tests)

We'll just have to check it out, another pilot that uses the extreme said his is vertically stacked and that mine would be too, I asked if I could rearrange it and he said it's probably doable
Hey db, their installer told me it will be a 5.8 panel. So 2 2.4ghz panels and the 5.8 panel on top stacked vertically?

This is going to be a "beast "set up, The extreme terminator! It's not going to be one for everyone but it's probably gonna be the best signal you've ever had unboosted. Here's a couple images I pulled up. They are very crappy pixelated images, but I just wanted to show you a scale size and arrangement

Those are huge!..your going to need some sweet vinyl decals on there

Do they come ready to mount on tripod? Or do you need to purchase the tripod head/mount separately

I'm not spending the extra money on a tripod mount although I'm sure that would make it completely plug-and-play. I'll mod something up to work with my own tripod, if I can't figure it out I know Pro charged can[emoji41]

So I'm guessing you throw a 5.8 panel on top of this you're talking about a six-foot rig! You're going to have to buy old cheap Chevy S 10 just to haul this thing around[emoji41]

Or a nice creep van with a telescoping pole for the panels to mount on! I think your going to need to find a $500 van or truck now

Give me some dimensions and i'll make a nice mount for the tripod to hold those panels. The plasti board I use will support 80lbs

Thanks Pro! We'll see what all comes with it first. I don't realistically see me gettin my hands on one for 3 to 4 weeks.
A flyer that owns one is going to send me some better pics to post later

**** that's a long wait!! I couldn't do it..thats worse than waiting for x-mas morning when your 8!

I'm not getting anything great so far with the twin antennas, I've got out to about 3500ft so far. I'm thinking on trying different location and if that does not work. I'll push them together side by side.

Testing can feel like a dead end and a lot of work sometimes when you're not getting the results you want, but keep in mind you're still flying[emoji41]
