The 4 pads above the gimball

Just asking...do all 4 pads need to have those plastic screws fully snapped into their corners? Please advice..thank you. Been flying my bird with 2-3 of them with the plastic "snap on" in the middle of each, one only has the white cushion....

No. Out of the box, there should only be two pins installed (diagonal from one another).

You shouldn't need to install the other two pins. And doing so could add vibration to your video footage.

Wait, are you saying only 1 corner has the white cushion/pad?? There should be 4, 1 on each corner.

A good simple modification- demonstrated by many to be an improvement- is remove the drop pins and put a small loosely fitted cable tie an all four corners....

The performance of the dampers (cushions LOL) is improved (drop pins don’t allow equivalent feeedom of movement due to binding and bottoming out).

Biggest advantage with the cable ties is a better chance the gimble won’t detach in an impact. Drop pins are notorious for letting go- often ripping the cable header off the OFDM board in the process. Poor engineering.
