TFR over Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Not that I have a horse in this race, but, why a THIRTY mile TFR? Seriously...

It’s not just drones.
Think all aircraft... below 18,000 ft.

Airliners will still be able to operate as most General Aviation aircraft on IFR flight plans. GA VFR flights will be grounded along with drones.
Yup. If u can operate at 18k plus your good to go!

This has been SOP for decades. Many moons before recreational sUAS became less idiot proof. This 30 MILE barrier give sufficient time to see & interact with a would-be violating aircraft. You'd be surprised how often a GA pilot flies into a TFR without even realizing it. With today's GPS and Flight Computers it happens a lot less than it used to. This large radius gives time to make contact (radio or otherwise) to get the aircraft diverted away from the Area of Interest or to take more aggressive action if the "threat" persists.
