Swallowed up by American Flag (my first Fail!)

I am making a slow motion video of the American Flag for my youtube channel. Perhaps i accidentally descended or the wind blew the flag higher than expected. I had been flying back and forth on this line over 5 minutes before the flag decided to eat the P4! Thank God the remote told me it switched to ATTI mode so i could just concentrate on the throttle when i was right side up.

I've done some close up flag work and moving into the flag was always my big worry.

Ha, I'll be getting that ticket, definitely had a lot of luck on my side!

Man, i literally did salute the flag then a quick hysterical laugh and land to assess the bird.

Although the flag didn't knock your bird out of the sky completely, I am very surprised at the quick recovery your Phantom made when it fell down a bit. That was sheer luck and many people have been in similar situations where the craft has come crashing down to the sky.

The phantom has a great ability to up right itself if it has enough distance to do so. Go ahead, do it again. You will see I'm right. LOL
