Security guard put me under citizens arrest

But yeah all this for a citizens arrest. I have no idea why this security guard wants to play sheriff, he should stick to just telling people to leave. I hope he knew his citizens arrest is under his name, not CSC, I have no idea why he's messing around with citizens arrest, he is liable to prove his arrest was justified. And now that lawyers say my case is bogus and will likely get dropped, I'll sue his *** for wrongful arrest if the lawyers advise me that I have a case.

Assuming that this actually happened, you might want to read up on what a "citizens arrest" under CA law is before suggesting that you'll sue. If your lawyer is competent, he'll explain why you don't have any grounds for suing the LA Coliseum or the staff. If you actually have engaged a lawyer over this, then the LA Coliseum already won. Your legal fees will easily outweigh the fine you would get if the case isn't dropped.

Exactly how is you INTENTIONALLY trying to slip through the system and TRESPASSING not grounds for arrest? I honestly can't wrap my mind around how in what universe you think you've been wronged for being caught doing something that is WRONG???

You are not the victim in this and what you did was wrong and 100% intentional. You really should be fined and reprimanded. Honestly I think you got off lucky but now you're "in the system" so next time it might be a different story.

Ya know...I used to manage the technology in arenas and stadiums (including one of the NFL stadiums), so I am extremely familiar with event and venue security. You had to be a real jack turd to actually get arrested and charged just for being in a restricted area. Most of the time, if you just leave when they ask you to leave, no harm no foul. But if you become belligerent, that's when they will toss the police your way. My guess is there are some major parts missing from this story that would make you look bad.

That's just your opinion. The NFL doesn't get special treatment.

Most of the lawyers are telling me this is a bogus case that will probably get thrown out. Especially I was granted access by 2 layers of security. This lead security officer didn't want to believe his team was so ****** to let me in, and didn't want to owe up to that. So he arrested me with citizens arrest, to cover his [EXPLETIVE REMOVED]. He didn't want to admit that his team made a mistake.

He should have just felt lucky only a party crasher made it through and not a terrorist.

I'm working with CSC corporate now, they're investigating.

*chuckle* You know what you get when you rub two lawyers together? 2000 different opinions. If it would up to me, I would at least put you in internet forum jail just for bringing all this nonsense up...but that's just me.

I did see a bunch of football players. Most of them were out of uniform and dressed back into normal clothes, with luggage going to the bus.

Anyone famous I could have saw from the Colts or Rams? I don't know football much.

I talked to some guy at my office, I told him how I thought the Colts were a super star team and I thought someone famous was there. But probably because of Peyton Manning who made the team but isn't there anymore. I mainly went in b/c I associated the Colts as a superstar team, but now it's probably b/c it was Payton Manning.

I'm not doubting anyone, I'm sure they're all exceptional players just for being in the NFL. I just don't follow football much, and I only know who players are based on Family Guy, South Park, Jimmy Kimmel, etc.

None of this sounds believable. You are either leaving out some crucial details or you are making it as you go along. Why don't you post a copy of your ticket with personal details redacted?

You might want to rethink your logic and develop a better argunent. If the lead security contractors intent was in fact to avoid attention to what you allege to be a defect in his teams comoetence the last thing he would consider doing would be to hand you to authorities to have formal charges laid. He would have escorted you out if the stadium as covertly as possible. To the extent this matter proceeds your alleged failure of the security detail will likely be on the public record.

The real story here is that you knowingly committed an offence for reasons only you understand and have lost face in being caught and dealt with appropriately.

Learn from it and move on. Continuation of this behaviour has no happy ending.

Ya I thought the Colts were still a super star team. I know they won superbowls,

Maybe but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

But on the ticket, there's a line that says Citing / Arresting officer, that has the cops name and serial #
There'sa another line saying, arresting officer (if different from citing office), and it states the name and serial # as citizen. I don't think any police officer would

Technically, I didn't know it was a restricted area. All I know is nobody was stopping me so I assumed fans could be backstage and watch the press conference. I assumed maybe I was a more important person, like I was more superior than any other fan so I was granted access.

Wow...just read through all the posts, hoping for a sensible outcome. Nope...thank goodness for the "ignore user" option on this forum. Moving on...

Instead of someone trying to make something of their life so that they might become recognized and well-liked enough to be invited into these special venues, this poor soul has chosen to just pretend he is important and has obviously been raised with a lack of common sense or respect. I think this thread is feeding his starvation for attention. I've chosen to block/ignore the poster.
