Replaced shell now says update

Crashed drone needed an imu calibration then was working motors spun & all now after shell replacement says to update bird & controller is there something that I could have done that would have created this don't want to update if its not needed. Thanks

Replacing shell would not cause an update..maybe your crashed drone has not been updated lately anyway updates are not compulsory if you don't want to update don't.

Thanks for input thats what I thought so opened her back up & found I had connector from battery wrong now works fine glad I didn't do update first looks good with the new shell
