Phantom experts needed (got it wet)

My first post. I've owned a Phanton 2 Vision for a year and a half. I was doing some survey work for an engineering firm when I lost power and went into a creek. Bad battery. Was in the water for 3-5 minutes. I took it apart and dried it out. It flies and holds position but I have no data sent back to my ipad. No picture, no card, 0% Battery,0 sat., no altitude and no speed. The wi-fi does show full bars.Is the board that sends the data in the camera or on the main drone board? The camera was probably more wet than anything. Maybe my excuse to get the P3. Any thoughts ?Thanks, KAD

Maybe put it in a 5 gal pail with rice... perhaps it's not as dry as you think.

Doing a little research I believe the Wi-Fi system is part of the camera assembly on a Vision 2. Is this correct?

Should be the metal covered item inside with two antenna less coming off of it, unless it's significantly different from the P2V+.
