Just bought a phantom 3 standard on Craigslist for 55$, the owner crashed it, and wanted no part in trying to fix it..... so here I am..... when I turn it on the battery lights turn on then off on the craft, and that's it.... any suggestions were to start?

How badly crashed? Pictures?
To be clear, to switch on are you doing 1 short press, then press/hold until all 4 lights are lit, then release?
Is the battery intact? Any signs of swelling or tears?

I already started taking it apart, put there was not much wrong with it at all, it was missing one of the light covers on bottom of the craft.... put in now hearing a little push when I try and start it, but no lights on craft, and no sounds.. etc....
