I just purchased a used Phantom 2 Vision Plus and am totally new to the "drone world" and to playing videos on anything other than my iPhone. I had the following error code appear when I attempted to play my first video on my Windows laptop:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
I couldn't find any solution on the internet but I finally figured out what the problem was. Here it is: I have to stop the video recording on the video camera BEFORE I turn off the drone. If I do not, the video file becomes corrupted because the video recording was not stopped prior to power shut down. Then, when I attempt to open it, I get this error message.
