Learning my new to me P4P. I got DJI Googles with it and when I plugged in the HDMI cable the aircraft disconnected from the controller. Total disconnect both Goggles and Ipad. I unplug the HDMI cable and the bird connects again. Went through the posts and found a posting about the same thing and he advised to download the firmware and flash the controller a couple times. I did that, then went to plug the HDMI cable in again and it stayed connected until I plugged in the goggles. The screen cycled from "Ready to Fly" to "Weak Signal" to "Aircraft Disconnect" and kept going through this cycle every few seconds. I turned everything off and disconnect the HDMI cable and then turned on the Ipad and controller again. Now when I open the DJI Go 4 app I get a white screen and a message that says this app does not go with this controller. Shut everything off again then the big problem hit. I press the power button on the controller and I get a solid beep sound from the controller. I press the second time and the LED turns a light green/blue color (not the green of being connected and not the blue of downloading firmware but a light green/blue). The light does not turn red showing no connection. The LEDs show the battery at two lights and the third blinking. I thought it was a low battery signal so I plug it into the charger and the lights start to flash in sequence but the solid beep sound is there and does not go off. After 30 minutes the right side (near the plug) is very warm. Any ideas???

I have deleted and reloaded the DJI GO 4 app twice. When I connect my controller I get this message.

Fully charge the goggles before connecting? Shuts down if dead. Add-on HDMI module or HDMI to USB?
Never seen blue green beep but might try a remote calibration, with GO4, but usually that shows as red with loud beeping. Wierd

If the P4P is earlier than 2018 it may not have the final firmware update. Both the remote and drone run great on their last firmware, if run together. Sounds like you only did the remote update.

Everything flew geat two days ago. I did a firmware update to the controller and now the controller will not connect to anything (bird, phone, Ipad). The LED is a light blue/green color. It won't turn red, green, blue or any other color and will not connect at all. The battery is down to two lights and when I connect it to the charger it has a solid beep and the lights flash but it does not seem to charge.

You will have to update the ac to match. Just keep it cool while in process. If you did the ac first it warns to do the remote. The 2018 firmware (final one for v1) works well.
Don't know if the goggles or the HDMI module screwed you up.

The final firmware for the v1 does that end.... .600?

perhaps this will help

Your iPad is not compatible with the latest GO4 app (v4.3.41), read the compatibility list:
According to the latest P4P release notes (2018-03-08):
AC Firmware v01.05.0600
RC Firmware v1.4.1.0
DJI GO 4 App iOS: v4.2.6
