hello i have a Phantom 3 Advanced that the M2 Motor always beeps after power on.

Sometimes when I try to do a take off the app says (ESC Status Error. Turn off aircraft and restart. Contact DJI support if this continues)

but other times when I try to do a take off all the motors except the one that beeps start spinning for a few seconds and then stops without any errors in the app.

controller and aircraft are on latest firmware.

What I have tried to do

1.calibrate controller

2.Calibrate IMU

Hello thank you for answering.

In 2019 the drone crashed but after it worked fine.
After years one day I tried to fly it and the problem above occurred.

Maybe dirt got in the motor after years.

Currently I am on a trip but I will try it when i get back.

I would wonder if there isn't a grain of sand in there. Try to tap it out or blow it out. Good luck.

I tried but nothing.

I have attached a video below of what is happening.

I'm sorry for the audio for the video the Drone interference with my phone's microphone.

I have another brushless motor (not made for the drone ) can I swap it for testing to see if the motor has a problem or the drone motherboard.

It's not likely the centerboard. I would assume the motor is bad and replace it with the exact same motor. Be mindful of the clockwise / counterclockwise direction of the new motor. Be sure to get the right one. Good luck.

I put the motor of M4 to M2 but still beeping.

Edit: I mean M2 is still beeping.

thank you for the help

is it worth it to repair the centerboard or replace it ?

I'm pretty sure there's no fix for a bad ESC, so you'd have to replace the centerboard. That's one of the things that bugged me about the P3 when they first came out is the ESC was integrated with the CB. With the P2s, the ESC was an independent board which could be easily and cheaply swapped out if it went bad. The other problem is, the P3 CBs are not particularly easy to swap out. You can go through the whole process, do everything right, and it still won't boot up. Sorry. You might end up having to buy a whole new used working P3A just because it's easier. Maybe somebody else has some better experience and advice. Good luck
