P3 4K and 3.1.6

Before the update 3.1.6. In the go app. I always used the p4 selection,,now that is gone from the app ,,so what should I use now ? What p3 is close to the p34k,,the standard,the pro or advanced. Those are my only options , there's never been a p34k drop down option,,just trying to get this straight before I use the new update,

P3 4k and P3S uses WI- FI so I assume use standard , I never noticed P3 4k was missing , P4 settings in go app would 've been different , surprised it worked before , app should recognize your P3 4K when connected and should be showing a screen with camera button hi-lighted in blue .

Ok I just went for a short 2500' run,,I ended picking the pro since the specs about the same ,,standard would not connect neither did the advanced,,I calibrated everything before I flew,,thanks knoll,,looks like I might have figured it out,,,[emoji120]

sounds like you actually have the P3P , pro with 4k camera , P3 4K is a different model -- upgraded standard with 4K camera , uses WI-FI to connect to RC not a cable .

Yea I have tried to connect with a cable,like the manuals say but with no luck,,wifi only,,everything I have says p3 4K lol,,DJI should have really done a better job of naming these things,,but it's nice to know I have no issues with flying at this time..thanks kndll

Makes sense that you use P3P to connect , since both P3P and P3 4K have 4K cameras , never thought about it or heard how someone with a P3 4K connects before this

hi yip p34k has a gold tag on front that says phantom 4k and standed got a silver tag

You got it ianzone, I got the most forgotten phantom there is,,but I'm enjoying flying it,,go to Best Buy some time and tell them you got a p34k,,and you'll get "oh the standard". Lol. And a bunch of other p3s/a/p.
