I am aggravated. So am I not supposed to fly the P2 now. I guess it's staying on the ground until there are a few more answers.

Just a thought : Isnt one way to determine compatibility to see whether or not you get the 4 beep ESC tone at startup ?

Dont know for sure except to say that the newer ones dont do that any more.

My P2 was bought as one of the new V2.0s (and it says so on the box). The ESCs do NOT say V2.0 on though, but, I dont get the four beeps.

Odd how there is such a mix of combinations out there. Mine was also bought as one of the new P2 v2.0's, box label states the same, ESC's do not have a vX.X near QR code, but has the start up tones...

Really hope DJI gets this sorted...

Okay, I'm going to show my ignorance. What upgrade kit? Is there an upgrade kit for the P2, V2.0, that consists of improved motors? I thought version 2.0 came about because it included upgraded motors AND ESCs. Am I mistaken?

I know this has no added value for this thread, but I thank GOD I bought my P2V+ in April of last year. And don't have to worry about all this ridiculousness. I will not be "upgrading" to the new motors or ESCs for a loooooong time (probably never). Sounds more like a downgrade to me.

Does this apply to the P2, V2.0? Mine was purchased after April.

P2 Ver 2 has the improved motors ESC
P2 Vision+ Ver3 has the improved motors ESC
