Optimized android device setup - latest thinking

Just bought the NVIDIA Shield K1 and pretty delighted so far, looks very good and hoping to get first try with it this week. I've read a few posts on various forums about best device settings for android devices (Enable USB debugging etc.) and just wondered what the latest thinking/experience on this.

Be great to hear from fellow K1 users who have found a good setup.

Get a good compass app so you have the option of calibrating the compass in your K1 prior to loading your flight app.

360 Security is a great app to optimize the operation of your K1.
