Getting a bit more comfortable with flying long distances. Took #1 P3S to about 5300' this evening. I put on a cheap little store bought antenna. Not sure if it helped, but it certainly didn't hurt.
Lo and behold, I was able to calibrate the compass on #1. Wonders never cease.
First try, too! As some of you know from reading my other blather, I've always had difficulty calibrating the compass and finally gave up. Figured I'd give it a try, and there it was. Gotta love it when something actually works. I think I've only updated the firmware on it once(?), so I don't seem to be having all the grief others are posting about.
Love these things!
