Hello All,
I have a Phantom 4 Standard that preformed perfectly since purchased new approximately
one year ago.

Went to fly this am and received the following
message
Signal then changes to No image transmission.

Swapped cords to no avail.

No crashes or hard bumps.

Would sure appreciate your assistance.

Thank you

Maybe try several cords. I have had several not to be good
when I tried that. Also I’m bad to use a dap of DeoxIT in my
ports. Might not be your issue but myself try’s the easiest
fix’s first. Good luck.

Yeah, that's strange. The smart card in your phone should have nothing to do with getting a video feed on the phone from the craft, coming through the RC via cable. You don't need a smart card to get a video feed. Many use just an iPad without cellular and it works just fine.

I have noticed that occasionally (maybe twice a year) my craft will not have a good connection. I'll have to turn off and reboot everything, then it always works fine.

Make sure you have WIFI turned off on your phone. I've found that a Wifi device looking for an access point can play havoc with the RC trying to receive the 2.4Ghz signal from the craft. P4P with 5Ghz video enabled doesn't suffer from this, but sometimes 2.4Ghz does, when wifi is enabled on a display device, but unable to connect to an access point. I think a phone/ipad constant hunting for a Wifi access point, searching on all wifi channels, interferes with the RC 2.4Ghz reception of the craft video, even when the craft is nearby.
