Got home from work and the weather was perfect for a quick flight so I grabbed my gear and headed to the front yard. Took off and headed south, lost signal and my P3s initiated an RTH, which was really pretty cool. I am glad to see that function works so well. She flew back home and started to land which I canceled. Had plenty of battery left so I thought I would climb high and look around. Went to stop the current video and start a new one, low and behold I did not start in the first place. CRUD! Oh well. Started the video and climbed. Hit the 400 ft limit, spun around to get a good look and decided to go higher. Went in and changed settings to allow a higher ceiling and climbed to 600 feet. What a view! spun around again, pointed camera down and started my decent. about halfway down DJI Go crashed. Restarted and was glad to see video still recording. Landed and went to sync and apparently, all of the data from before the app crash was gone. Was kind of bummed. All in all, good flight. On another note, there was a storm front moving in and I got some pretty good video of that!

Yes, the app is logging the flight.
What are you using for a mobile device?

Look at mobile device fixes..
DJI Phantom Accessories & Tips - Phantom Help

There is flight data on the Phantom itself, I have saved it but never tried to use it (convert) it. Probably not worth the time unless it was really important.
