Hi folks! I received my 4Pro+ this past Mon, have never had an R/C before. STEEP learning curve this week, but getting there. Any other folks live in Alaska?

I have a bunch of questions, and will ask them in a separate post if that's ok.

I am Not in AK but the son is , not far from you, He just PCS'd in july to Fairbanks
Mailed a bebop 1 drone to him today I bought super cheap a while back
that I had the Parrot sitting here doing nothing since I use the p3pro.

they sent so many nice pics from phone ,
I am hoping he can get some decent non standard stuff with it the drone before he loses it..lol

Just make sure you start out with fully charged and warm batteries (20+ c)
go slow and easy
learn to fly before you make it fly itself(auto stuff)

post your stuff so I can check it out and share to him and the kids

BTW
nice pics on FB

good luck and have fun flying!

Good morning kirk2579!

Is your son Army (Ft Wainwright) or USAF (Eielson AFB)? I retired from Eielson in 2014 after 30+ years active duty, I was the Comm Chief there.

Awesome. I drove up from FL, towed a trailer with my 4 wheeler in the truck bed, Oct 2010. Visited so many places enroute: Corn Palace, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, Glacier National Park. I crossed into Canada from Montana, then up by Edmonton, stayed in Banff, went up on top of Sulphur Mountain there, Lake Louise, Mistaya River, Peyto Lake, Columbia ice fields ... Athabasca Glacier, Jasper, ALCAN ... list goes on and on. Been here over 6 years now. Follow my Facebook photography page in sig, always sharing my photos and other photographer friends work there.
