new to drones

Hello, Mike Runyan in sunny Florida. I recently purchased from Amazon the P 4 bundle and I just bout a P3 standard for a gift. First time user. When I set up my P 4 I came up with 1no esc error and 4 no esc error. Are these related to motherboard issues ? I attempted setup several times. May have to return it. Also, I have a iPad mini 2 . Can it be used for both phantom? If so, what do I need to do when using it on both?

Where do you see those errors? What are the exact error messages?

Yes. Just install DJI GO and connect to the drone you'd like to fly.

My error codes are 1 no esc error and 4 no esc error. Bought it from Amazon. Sending back for new one
