New Antennas

Hi all,

Just wondering if i could use these 2.4ghz 10dbi antennas for my Argtek system,

as i keeps losing signal after 200m? if not has anyone got any idea on resolving this problem.

I really doubt those antennas can deliver 10 dbi. If they are built like most that size, they are only a coaxial dipole or a vertical dipole. One leg is extended a quarter wavelength and other is simply a sleeve of same length. These are used a lot in VHF and UHF mobile applications but only yield around six dbi. I'd check them carefully because that is how the stock antennas are built. However if this company has come up with a new design, it should really catch on!

The problem start after the latest firmware, a bit stuck for ideas.

That sucks, been there a couple of times.
Remote signal, wants to RTH, or loosing video and or Telemetry?

Im losing video and RTH

Hum, my problems have always been Remote signal to Phantom, video and telemetry was always fine. This was immediately after a firmware update. I could have it setting on a chair, 100' away, not even motors started, Rc Signal, Good, Bad and Ugly changing about every couple of seconds.

Have seen many others with video problems, but not both.
