Missed it ?

So..after removing the cover, and thinking all was fine..I came across this....the discoloration in the black wire is freaking me out.....thoughts? Its from a V3 with no markings on the sticker. I DIDN'T notice this, until AFTER putting the cover back on...and went thru my pics....uggg

Maybe the picture quality but looks like the wires have been trapped / crushed by the white plastic guides

I'd pull it back from the ESC as far as possible. If a wire has been seriously overheated, the plastic/vinyl will get brittle so work the discolored areas to see it they crack. If they do, new motor and ESC.
I like the idea of close out photos too, think ill add that to the checklist.
