If there was strong winds the antenna would probably fly further than the drone21in x 40in yea that is big.
I was thinking the same thing put some kite sting on the tripod ( your going to need a tripod for that)If there was strong winds the antenna would probably fly further than the drone![]()
Why bother taking them apart. Just glue them like the Horizon did and give it a fancy name. Thats obviously why its spray painted black to cover over the Chinese company name
Canada.

Would most people agree that the Chinese Panels are not properly tuned?I'm sure FPV Horizons had to fine tune these panels... The china ones are most likely just thrown together without proper tuning/spacing of the board and reflector. I know the distance has to just right for it to work for peak performance. I doubt the ebay panels will give the same results as the terminator. And if FPV did use the china joints then he had to put work in to get them to perform..that alone takes lots of time and testing. That's just my opinion on all this. For a few posts it seemed like pitch forks and torches were heading for FPV Horizons about this. The true test will still be for someone to test the 2....I'm waiting for that one
Very unlikely that anybody is going to open up those panels to tune anything.Would most people agree that the Chinese Panels are not properly tuned?
Does it make sense for Horizon to use the Chinese panels and tune them? I can see from a cost saving standpoint.
I can see from db's results that they have done the proper tuning, what about the durability of such a panel? Would they have made the parts inside more durable?
Beau's I agree 100% with you. Horizon just used it as a kit.Would most people agree that the Chinese Panels are not properly tuned?

From the quote db posted earlier, it looks like they reconstructed the internals, possibly to help with durability as well.Would most people agree that the Chinese Panels are not properly tuned?

Really, how many performance shops are there in America for cars.Very unlikely that anybody is going to open up those panels to tune anything.
Nothing wrong with that! As long as their method works, and it has so far.Beau's I agree 100% with you. Horizon just used it as a kit.
Db did you put that hole in the back panel by taking it apartFor you curious cats!

I did no damage at all by taking the panel apart, that hole was already there and it's covered up by the sticker on frontDb did you put that hole in the back panel by taking it apartoh I guess that is the first panel.
No ****.I did no damage at all by taking the panel apart, that hole was already there and it's covered up by the sticker on front
The panels I order are coming from ONTARIO, CA USFedex said I should have my panels by the end of day this Friday.. We will see what they look like. To me from your pictures the biggest thing it spacing. I think Pro said that also.
Yep, no pitchforks out! Were just kicking around thoughts, opinions, doubts, & successes like we always do here! Horizon has put together a game changing antenna here, i've only cracked the surface with what this antenna is capable of and youve seen all I've done with this so far! All in all this antenna is worth every penny and I wish I got a chance to buy it six months ago[emoji41]
