Here a 360 that I did of the South Haven Lighthouse. I used the pano from video feature of Microsoft ICE. It worked pretty well. I have also used a program that makes JPG images from your video and used them to stitch. The resolution is not great but it still looks good.
Here is an interactive version from photosynth of the 360 as well http://bit.ly/1BQWL2L
Just to say i love your shots very creative and the locations look beautiful, you are very lucky to live in such a great destination keep up the good work bud!
I'm working on some vertical mosaics. This is my first attempt at a friend's pit and plant. You can zoom in quite a bit. It was taken at approx. 300ft agl. To do it right I think I'm going to have to set up a waypoint route at a set speed with auto image frequency calculated to do it properly.
Here's a couple of mine. First is a stich of 5 photos, I left a bit of the fisheye curve in. Its from Lacombe Alberta, Burman university on the right, Elizabeth Lake in the middle.
This one is a vertical one, 5 images from straight down to straight at horizon. Its from Canyon Ski Area near Red Deer, Alberta. Red Deer river in the bottom of the shot.
