Hi everyone and merry christmas

I recently shot a video on a boiling day with the sun out at midday. Video down below. I cant stop thinking that the footage is just way too dull and colourless. I tried to edit to make it better to no prevail. I saw a polarized lense a while ago but there isnt anything on the DJI website for DJI P3 anymore. Do the lenses work well?

I was also surprised by how well the battery lasted in the heat. DJI have nailed them.

Kind regards

On my monitor, which is calibrated using a Spyder 4, the video looks underexposed by at least a stop which would make it look lifeless.

Agree with Flo Rider---underexposed by a stop or more like two.

Turn your ISO up

Actually, turning the ISO up would further underexpose the image, the camera would take even shorter exposures. You didn't say how you had the camera set up. Was it in auto or manual mode, what fps setting, what ISO did you have set? Most use 100 on the P3s. On a clear, sunny day, with iso set at 100, try some footage in auto and monitor the exposure setting. Most like a setting about 1/2 the fps (e.g. 1/60 sec for an fps of 30). If it's faster than that, we use nd filters to bring it down to the desired value. For example, I use an ND 8 here in west central Ohio on sunny days and am happy with the results. You can find info on a bunch of filter sets in previous threads. I personally like the set from Taco. It's a 4 filter set, good quality and they come in a nice foam lined hard case.
