It looks like all part 83's are not the same.

I hit a low limb the other day and when the Phantom 3 hit the ground the camera vibration absorbing board was broken It looks like there is part 83 and then there is part 83. The hole where the ribbon cable and the two antenna wires go through is too small on some ver. of part 83. The cable connector will not go through hole.
I did some searching and found another 83 and on this one hole is bigger, but the mounting holes don't line up correctly, that is unless your rotate the plate. I am so confused, anyone got any Idea about this.

Part 83 (your first photo above) is the gimbal mounting plate for the Phantom 3 Standard. Part 39 (your second photo above) is the gimbal mounting plate for the Phantom 3 Advanced/Professional.

Thanks msinger, The things are both listed as part 83. If you look at Amazon or ebay. At least I know I am not crazy

The Amazon links I posted above show the correct part numbers. It sounds like you came across a listing that is using the wrong part number.
