Hey Shoemaker, Bad news. Battery is not recoverable. Water got under the Interface board ribbon cable at the connector and literally rusted away most of the Lands on the cable as well as in the connector itself.
On the controller end obviously the water was full of enough minerals and caused short circuits which overloaded several resistors and they burnt up and exploded.

On the other hand once I removed the lipo cells, the battery still reads 7.8 volts. It is probably still ok. However, I was going to put it on to a balance charger and try to charge it back up. But I don't want to do that until you say so.
