My buddies father passed away and he gave me the drone for helping with the cleaning of the house. The problem is i have no clue which one this is. I'm new to this sport i have always few RC planes and helicopters. I know it's a DJI Phantom just not sure what model. Could anybody please help me identify this drone which model it is the other problem is there is no controller or battery charger can I use one of the transmitters from my RC helicopters or how would I go about finding the receiver that would pair with this drone thanks for all your help.
Is this a DJI 3 or 2.. need help thanks

It looks like a Phantom 3 Standard. If so, you should see that marked on the front plate like this:
Thank you how would I go about pairing a receiver where would you recommend getting one or would it be best just to buy a whole new complete rtf and keep this for a spare. Thank you

You can only fly the Phantom 3 Standard with a Phantom 3 Standard remote controller. Those accessories are available here on Amazon:
