I mean...is there any kind of insurance I can buy where if my P2V+ crashes or it is lost accidentally I will recover some money? Any experience with a specific company or current offering in US market?

Nothing in the states that's realistic for a hobbyist. There are some that exist for commercial use. Obviously your homeowners insurance will cover loss from theft, but at the price of a P2 or P3, it's probably cheaper just buying a new one (depending on your deductible, obviously)
I kinda sorta have a similar question...since I just purchased the P2V I have been offered an extended warranty for $139.99 to cover repairs, etc. for one year ($189.99 for two).
It didn't mention loss, just damage.

Sounds like the SquareTrade offering, right? if so, don't do it. They don't cover flying cameras anymore.
This one isn't Square Trade. It's called Consumer Priority Service and it specifically shows the P2V and lists it as a drone:

Of course I just noticed that it specifically says a $100 deductible and then below says Zero Deductible...hmmm, I'll just have to call them and see what's up.
