Instead of returning home it lands!

So i was this weekend flying when i push H button in the controller and it started landing instead of coming Home! Of course i have it marked correctly in the DJI App. So i tried again and through the app as well and again it started lading... DJI is having lots of issues lately right? (i did not update to last firm´)

How far away was the Phantom when you pushed the H button? If you're closer than 65 ft, it will land automatically.

Long time since I RTM, Mike, so time for a refresher I think! Never had the scenario occur either.

Actually yes, it was. I´m still fighting against them because this very same happened but 200 meters away...

Double check your RTH preferences under the settings menu too. There are options for it to land straight away underground certain conditions

There are no options for RTH.
There are options for what you want your Phantom to do if signal is lost.
