Increasing FPC range? P2, ImmersionRC 25mw 5.8Ghz

I have a phantom 2 with the ImmersionRC transmitter for FPV received by a Lilliput 7" monitor with dual receivers with circular polarized antennae all round.

I seem to have a really short range for FPV, I can't give a distance to you as the screen is scrambled and I can't see the readout from the iOSD mini!

What sort of things can I do to increase the range? I've seen they sell higher power transmitters but i'm sure 25mw is the highest power we're allowed to use in the UK?

Pics of your setup might help. I have had great success with Sunhans signal amplifiers in my linear polarized setup.
