I've been dinking around with swapping out parts on one of my gimbals, trying to get it to work. I've been taking parts of of a working gimbal, and I've found the problem motor board on the defective gimbal.
I've forgotten how many times the ribbon cable wraps around the camera pitch shaft, though. I could swear that it came off the vertical bracket and then looped twice around the shaft before the ribbon end was inserted into the camera board. When I do two loops, though, it's almost impossible for me to get the end of the ribbon in to the clip. If I do one loop, it's easy.
Youtube videos don't show any detail, but in any videos where the cable is being attached to the camera board, the person in the video doesn't seem to be struggling.
Does anybody know the number of loops? I'm referring to the number of times it goes around the shaft and gets to the cutout in the camera body.
