Help with Phantom 4 Pro

Hello All, I just ordered a Phantom 4 Pro, from amazon, a kit at a cost of nearly 2,000. Can anyone tell me if I need an I phone or I pad to operate the drone and also where can I get information about saving/downloading either photos or videos. Nope, it is not delivered yet, but want to know and begin operating the minute I open the box. Ya'll have a great weekend.

Welcome Aboard! First a quick note. Do not be in quite so big of a rush. You may think it's open the box and fly, but it would greatly assist you to first read the manual at a minimum of 3 times thoroughly and understand everything before you even take anything else out of the box.

Did you order the Phantom 4 Pro, or the Phantom 4 Pro Plus version? The Plus has it's own screen, no tablet required.

Also, your first flight should never be indoors. Start out in an open (no trees) isolated area. The larger the better.

If you purchased the P4P (which comes with the remote controller with no display), you'll need a phone/tablet to fly. You can find a list of recommended and commonly used phones/tablets here.
