HELP new p3p remote blinks red light

I just got a p3p and the remote blinks a red light can anyone tell me what is wrong with it. I did a link from the remote to the rc but it still blinks red... can anyone help me with this.. thanks

Have you successfully connected RC with AC?

It doesn't sound like the re-link was successful.

I got it going I had to relink both of them a lot of times for it to work plus calibrate the rc a lot of times too but it up and going now. Thanks for your help
