I need help or advice. I have a p4 coming next week and my phone isn't fast enough to use with my controller ( Samsung a15 ) . I tried to find a controller with built-in screen but they said they where for Mavic an air series. Is there one for p4 standard? Or phone , tablet I can by without breaking the bank!

I have the 8 pro the 9 is out now and a little more pricy than what I paid for mine. But I bought it directly from the Triplteck Website
Tripltek is pricey. I used an iPad Mini 4 or 5 with my P4. You might be able to pick up a refurbished one from Apple that has a fresh battery. Not nearly as bright as the Tripltek but you can get a hood for it from Hoodman

The 300E remote has built-in screen and will operate all the P4 models. (Standard, Advanced, and Pro). The model is chosen in the onboard GO 4 app. I use the regular remotes as well with my iPad mini 5 and my Samsung A53 phone.
Awesome thank u very much u guys are so helpful here I love this place.i just passed my recreational license, was wondering if I should get the next one up pro I think. Ur thoughts anyone have one, It's probably not easy.
With is better for reception ? I've the controller with built-in screen might not be as good as a separate screen, true or false?

Not sure where you got that idea but it doesn't sound right.
The Samsung A15 was released at the end of 2023, which makes it newer than the A53 mentioned in post #8.
The Phantom 4 came out in early 2016.
The A15 should comfortably have more than enough processing power to run the Go 4 app.
Either controller is likely to be just as good as the other.
The controller with the built-in screen has some other limitations.
But ... you mentioned that you are getting a Phantom 4 standard rather than a Phantom 4 pro.
Although post #8 said: The 300E remote has built-in screen and will operate all the P4 models. (Standard, Advanced, and Pro).
That's not quite true.
The Phantom 4 pro and P4 pro V2.0 have different transmission systems and their controllers are not interchangeable.
And the Phantom 4 and its controller only used 2.400 GHz to 2.483 GHz while the P4 pro used 2.400 - 2.483 GHz and 5.725 - 5.825 GH.
I haven't tried swapping their controllers, so I'm not sure if post #8 is correct or not, but I would be cautious about relying on it.
Are you certain that you are getting the Phantom 4 standard?
Also .. if you are a new flyer, be aware that there are flight restrictions in the vicinity of Sydney Airport.
Look at this website and click on any point where you are interested in flying to see what restrictions apply there.

OK first of ty meta 4 and ok2 fly for ur response, I'll try to answer both questions at once. First I googled many times and ways on Google and different outcome slitly on my search. I also was on another drone club site seamed popular but the members here seam to know their **** . I'm so glad I'm here I've learned more here in a day than to weeks searching. And yes I get my drone tomorrow, from the Pic I looked of the batter compartment it was wm330a so pretty sure it's a p4 standard. Also ok2 fly I live in Oregon ABOUT 3or 4 miles from a small regional airport. Ps I had an ae86pro max and it malfunctioned and powered down to the rocky ground at 7.47 meters per second . Also thank you meta 4 I was about to buy a used crystalsky 7.85 " it wasn't a refurbished it was 343.00 I looked at many different options not trying to break the bank I'm a disabled ARMY VET and the used p4 wasn't cheap , so thank u and all of u that have been giving me advice here. Keep it coming. I can't wait to get my other two brother's here so cool.
iPad mini 4 would be a consideration. The cellular version isn’t necessary.

Thank u Starz thank u Captain , and yes I was looking at an iPad 5 refurbished 7.9" would have to get a phone holder extension. And looked at the crystalsky 5.5 an 7.85 . Thanks RP lol I mean RodPad UPS just delivered my p4 , Holly Cow the box is 10 times bigger than the box my ae86 pro max came in !! And it weighs 25 pounds !!! I was not expecting that, it was a package deal. WOW
