Actually wingmasters was the one at Wegerzen you did need AMA but you only had to buy a key for $25. I think that joining was optional.

I'm in the Miami R/C club. Our field is on fairgrounds at Hawkins. I fly the airplanes down there but ridgebury park is in my back yard where I fly the phantom most of the timeHaven't flown with a club in a while, which club?
What decals NickWelcome, Jeff. Now you, Ryan and I need to go fly somewhere. Ryan, I ordered my 2nd battery over the weekend, so decal orders will be coming when I get that. Figured I will hit them all at once!

I'm over in Springfield. I fly a lot at the soccer fields on Eagle City Rd. Obviously not when they are playing soccer, but I've had good luck on Sunday mornings. You can go on the National Trails webpage and check the schedules too. Even shared the space one morning with a guy and his son flying FPV fixed wing RC.Mostly open areas. I usually check before I go to see if any restrictions are in the area since WPAFB is in the area and can't fly in their airspace without permission.
Now that the Snyder Park golf course has closed, I fly there every once in a while. Just cruise up and down the fairways.Mostly open areas. I usually check before I go to see if any restrictions are in the area since WPAFB is in the area and can't fly in their airspace without permission.

That's a pretty wide open comment. For specifications on the aircraft, you can just go to the DJI webpage. If you have specific questions about setting up and flying a phantom, you need to spell them out in your posts. Practically everything about these aircraft has been discussed on the forum. Just pick a topic and do a search. And if you want to see one in action, check out the reagional meetup section of the forum and look for flyers in you area.Hello all,
I am new here, I want to know more about phantom 3.
No airspace restrictions. Springfield airport is more than 5 miles away. There is a helipad at the hospital that should probably be notified, but nothing else. The 2 private strips that show up in airmap don't exist any more! Just to be sure, I'll try to contact the parks department this week to make sure that we wouldn't be stepping on any toes if we flew there.
