What is the best way to get the highest output to an external monitor - would the hdmi from a nvidia K1 tablet be 1080 - am I right in thinking the hdmi module only outputs at 720?

DJI module output is 720 correct.

Nvidia shield HDMI output supports up to 4k, but that would only put out the video feed from the AC which is done in 720 as well. So either way your getting 720.

Any idea if the P4P+ hdmi output is different with the built in screen?

I don't own a P4pro but the spec sheet says the display is 1920x1080 so I'm assuming the out put is the same.

I thought the P4P could feed 1080 to the controller, in good conditions?

From how I read the specs both the P4P and the P4P+ can feed 1080 back to the controller.

The P4P hdmi is limited to 720. Is the P4P+ 720 or 1080?

Just got my HDMI cable in for this. I plugged the P4P+ RC into my Samsung 55 inch 4K curved screen, and BAM! 1920*1080 60P, according to my Samsung. Looks amazing. I didn't hook the UAV to the receiver, but the module on the remote is definitely outputting 1080P. The P4P+ is supposed to downstream to the receiver at 1080 or 720, depending on conditions.

I just updated my P4P controller with the DJI HDMI module and waiting for my new Eachine Goggles Raceband HD 1080p HDMI FPV Goggles and see if it's 1080.

I have a 4K TV and will see if it's 1080 in the same way you did and post my results.

Best regards,
Steve
