Hard cases for P3

So I'm confused since I'm seeing conflicting information. I see a number of posts here say the P3 is different from the P2 in terms of the width of the gear, so a case designed for the P2 won't work for the P3 without some cutting.

But, on Amazon, I'm seeing cases for "The P3 and P2". For example:

So will a P2 case work, or is this maybe a P3 case that will fit the P3 but since the gear is less wide on the P2, it will fit the P2 also?

It really depends on the case -- they are all cut differently. The cases at the following link will fit a Phantom 3:

The differences aren't big so a tight P2 case might need trimming but others will fit without modifying.
The other difference is that the new gear is taller so you need to check height as well as width for the gear.

None of those cases appear to have room for the prop guards, which I have....

So it looks like http://www.amazon.com/Koozam-Alumin...id=1431316524&sr=8-10&keywords=phantom+3+case should work, no? I was hoping to keep it right around $200, but it may be worth it if that case is the best value..
