GoPro 4 Hero blac vs Phantom 3 camera

The Phantom 2 can still take impressive photos. The Phantom 3 has a better camera though, so it should be able to technically take better photos. The major downside is that they are fisheye photos, so you need to straighten them out in post.

The GoPro4 takes better stills than the P3 but video is very similar IMO - But the fisheye is the big problem with the GoPro

what about a 5.4mm lens replacement to remove the fisheye effect? Will this then provide better quality than the P3?
