Gimbal wires.. Is this normal?

Noticed the wires coming from the gimbal into the bird are bunched up and have a pretty sharp bend in them. Is this normal, does everyone's look like this?

Mine are the same. I think it allows more movement for the camera mounting to avoid Jello effect. Mine has a smoother loop where the sharp bend is, otherwise the same.

Its normal.
I wondered the same as you did Brian, then saw on a few P3's as well as on DJI website its all the same, its for more room for movement when the gimbal moves up/down/left/right in the air on the white bumpers/cushions.
