Follow me trouble!

So my P3 will not follow me. It will rotate and keep the camera on me but it won't move from its hover. Any tips on what it could be? I'm hooked up to my phone and the signal seems fine.

I thought mine wasn't moving when I first tried that mode what was happening is I wasn't walking far enough away try putting it up and walk 100 yards in a straight line away from the drone, see if it follows I was only moving a couple feet but wasn't actually walking away was more like walking around the drone
