Lol... Heck, that reminds me of P4 firmware!Wrong thread but you guys love me...lol
Tested some Beta Phanton 5 firmware today...
Something doesn't seem right ???
So, you're saying L-com makes a good antenna? And to be fair to this thread, here is L-com straight out of RC, and propped by low loss cashews.. (laughs)
About a 6dBm difference (8.5dB L-coms was a 6dBm better reading than 9dB Alfa)
New tire thumper? LolMy 15db telephone poles came today. Much bigger than I pictured.

Specs = speculations until measuredSo, you're saying L-com makes a good antenna?
Good Stuff !!And to be fair to this thread, here is L-com straight out of RC, and propped by low loss cashews.. (laughs)

So are you saying the cashews had higher gain than the L coms? And to be fair to this thread, here is L-com straight out of RC, and propped by low loss cashews.. (laughs)

Good Stuff !!
Last nights flight from in my truck. Wasn't far, but some areas were blocked by stacks of lumber. Plan on re-flying this area much lower between the stacks.
About all I had left to test was my magnet base/cable..
L-com straight to 3W sunhans amp...
L-com on magnet base/3W sunhans..
.23 dBm loss. Plenty good for a car set-up. Glad to know all amps/cables test good/consistent. Gave me a little more confidence.
¼ dB loss.. you better throw them away.. that's 2 more feet you could've gone in the woods!! (Lol)Thanks for sharing Johnny !! have been wondering how much I am giving up using those mag. bases.
Doesn't look like much
Yep! And it's all I had to work with..lol Done all I could to keep this going.. up to you guys now! (Hits refresh)Those panel antennas I think are better to use on the RF testers. Being directional they omit interference from their back sides.
