Flying a Phantom 2 and a phantom 3 together

I have a Phantom 2 NON vision with a 5.8 gigahertz video transmitter attached and my dad just picked up a phantom 3 standard, we were wondering if we could fly them together? Or will his camera Wi-Fi signal interfere with my phantom and my video transmitter signal interfere with his phantom if that kind of makes sense. All the help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Okay thank you for the fast response, I always heard that if I turn the Wi-Fi on my GoPro on it would interfere with my transmitter because it is on 2.4 gigahertz. So we weren't sure if the P3 video transmission would interfere like the GoPro, because it is on the same frequency

It's not necessarily the same frequency. The phrase "2.4 Ghz" really refers to a range of frequencies. Hope this helps.

Yes it helps a lot thank you we were just afraid to fly them together and have one fly away due to frequency interference from each other
