After just a couple of weeks of flying (probably ~10 flights so far) I had my first "compass error" today. The PS3 indicated the error just after takeoff while at about 60 feet in the air. The wind of about 15mph caused it to drift about 800 feet downwind, which at the time got my heart racing. I took a breath, slowed down, then I switched it into ATTI mode and swiped the return to home button. It popped up to it's pre-assigned RTH of 150 feet and came whisking back to me right overhead, lowered nicely where I easily hand-landed it.
Curious... should I make it a habit to calibrate the compass every time before flight? I haven't calibrated it for the past 5 flights or so, as I had no request to do so from the DJI GO app. Thanks!
